Scientific conference: "Innovation, Efficiency & Resilience in Health Service Organisations"

The University of Macedonia and the Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki are co-organizing a two-day scientific conference titled “Innovation, Efficiency & Resilience in Health Service Organisations". Our Scientific Director, Panos Stafylas he will have the honour of moderating Session 3: “Health Technology Assessment in the Modern Hospital: From Pharmaceuticals to Medical Devices,” featuring distinguished scientists, governmental officers, and senior professionals from the healthcare sector: Georgios Papazisis (Professor of Clinical Pharmacology AUTH, EOF), Stergiani (Stella) Spyrou (3rd Regional Health Authority), and Dimitris Nikas (Medtronic, Association of Medical and Biotechnological Product Enterprises).
In addition, during his presentation titled “Health Technology Assessment (HTA) as a Decision-Support Tool in Hospital Management,” Panos Stafylas will highlight how HTA can support evidence-informed decision-making, enhance resource allocation, and strengthen hospital governance.
It is a great opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between academics, healthcare executives, and health professionals.

The two-day conference will take place at the Auditorium of Papageorgiou General Hospital of Thessaloniki on the following dates and times:
