9th HTA Conference
The 9th HTAconference organized by BOUSSIAS was successfully completed with the participation of distinguished speakers and a large number of participants.
The Scientific Director of HealThink, Panos Stafylas, participated in the conference by coordinating SESSION 3 | INTEGRATION OF THERAPEUTIC PROTOCOLS IN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT (HTA): OPTIMIZING HEALTHCARE DECISION-MAKING.
He also presented the role of therapeutic protocols in the management of cardiovascular diseases and he mentioned that we have 900,000 patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in Greece of which 750,000 are unregulated. In this light, the implementation of the new Ministerial Decision 4154/2024 on the implementation of indicators for monitoring therapeutic prescribing protocols in nine diseases is of great importance. Finally, he raised a concern referring to elements of the National Program for the prevention and management of cardiovascular risks.
