HTA Conference 2023
The main theme of the 2023 HTA conference is the new role that HTA and Negotiations are called upon to take on, in the context of new EU Regulation on Health Technology Assessment which will allow vital and innovative health technologies – such as innovative medicines, certain medical devices, medical equipment and prevention and treatment methods – to be more widely available.
This year, two key persons of HealThink will participate in the conference.
Panos Stafylas, Scientific Director of HealThink, will moderate the Session 4 | IMPROVING ACCESS FOR DIGITAL PLATFORMS AND MEDICAL DEVICES.
Renata Valsami, Health Policy & Governmental Affairs Manager, will participate in Session 3 | TOWARDS MORE EFFECTIVE USE OF INNOVATIVE MODELS TO FACILITATE THE NEGOTIATION OUTCOME AND ENSURE AFFORDABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF MEDICINES and present “Towards more effective use of Innovative Models to facilitate the Negotiation Outcome”.
It will be a great opportunity to meet colleagues, partners and various stakeholders of HTA community and discuss the strategies, procedures, skills and capabilities needed to address challenges and overcome potential barriers to access to many new and innovative therapies.
